WEDDING INVITATION

For the wedding invite, I wanted to create something that feels both sophisticated and timeless. I chose black and cream as the color palette because these tones are classic and elegant, evoking a sense of refinement without being overly flashy. The contrast between the deep black and soft cream creates a striking visual balance that’s understated yet impactful.

Simplicity was key for me. I wanted the design to feel clean and minimal, allowing the important details to shine without overwhelming the recipient. The layout is spacious, with plenty of negative space to keep the focus on the couple’s names and the essential information. I opted for elegant serif fonts that add a touch of formality and tradition, but nothing too ornate or busy.

For this wedding invite, I wanted to create something that feels both elegant and personal, with a touch of creativity. Typography was key to bringing that vision to life. I knew I wanted to play with different font styles to reflect the couple’s personalities—something classic for the names, but a bit more modern for the event details. I chose a script font for their names to give it an elegant, flowing feel, while using a clean, sans-serif font for the rest of the details to keep it readable and timeless.

I also had some fun with spacing and alignment, playing with the flow of the text to create visual interest. For example, I placed the couple's names at the top in a larger size to make them the focal point, while the date and location were subtly arranged underneath in smaller, more refined typography. I even experimented with varying weights of the fonts to create contrast, giving the invite a sense of rhythm and hierarchy.

Making the Spotify-themed direct mail bold was all about creating an unforgettable visual impact and grabbing the recipient's attention from the get-go.
